Slightly under an inch across, these goldtone butterflies also have a Mother-of-Pearl Inlay. However, they are confined to the lighter mother of pearl. Another item from the 60's.

Definitely a Retro item, these gold tone whistles really work! They are 1 2/3" long not counting the round thing at the top. There is a hole to pass a jumpring through or to pass your thread through of you want to go that route. High polished goldtone, which is why they look so dark (the polishing reflects the light off). Not a bead, these are hand assembled molded cameos from 1946. Made in Italy. Shown next to them are the frames used to set them, each frame has a loop to attach it to a necklace.Just glue the cameos in the center of the frame so as not to get the glue along the edges, gee whiz, a kid could do it!
