Unique. Attach beads to the holes in this finding with eyepins or headpins so that they dangle at various lengths. There is a screw clip for attaching to the ear, the clip is attached to the BOTTOM of the earlobe and the finding crawls UP the ear. Dates from the late 40's, antique gold tone, made of brass. They can also be used to make earrings in conjuction with the mountings shown, simply do your bead work on the screens and place in the mountings, then bend the prongs over. Rhodium plated screens measure 22mm, shown with clasp "boxes". The screens fit into the boxes and the prongs are bent over to make a clasp, or a pin can be attached to the back to make a brooch or chatellaine. Please note: the finish on these pieces is a high polish rhodium, they are not black. The high polish throws the light back at the camera and they appear black but they are not.
We also have boxes for 3 strand and 4 strand necklaces. The 4 strand can also be used as a 2 strand clasp, just use either the outside two holes or the inside two holes depending on the size of the beads you are using. The 4 strand is very rare and we have but a few to sell. The screens above, the 22mm ones, fit these boxes. Rhodium plated. Either one is sold with a 2 pc minimum.
