Merchandise Returns Policy:
All merchandise is sold with a return privilege of 3 days from receipt of
package, with the exception of "Final Sale" merchandise, under the following conditions:
- Undamaged Returned Merchandise subject to a 25% Re-stocking charge or $25, whichever is greater.
- No more than 20% of the gross dollar value of your order may be returned, subject to all other conditions.
- Order carefully.
- Defective Merchandise may be returned for replacement with like kind. In the event
that we cannot replace with like kind, we reserve to right to replace with equal or greater
value.
- In the event you wish to return anything you must notify us by email within 3 days of receipt, providing a detailed list of the item(s), and receive a return authorization code by email. Anything returned without authorization code will not be accepted
and will not be the responsibility of Jewelex Inc. Merchandise must be returned in a timely fashion, in our hand in not more than 7 working days, otherwise the return authorization will be void.
- Until in our hand, we are not responsible for returned merchandise so we strongly
suggest it is sent insured.
- All returned merchandise must be in original packaging the same way it was shipped and is subject to verification of style and quantity by us. If anything is missing the return credit will be voided.
- Postage must be prepaid by customer and is not refundable.
- Returns accepted under the above conditions for store credit only, exclusive of postage
and handling charges. Store credit issued in the form of a code number that must be applied by you to any future order. It cannot be applied by us to any pending order already in house (before you ask!).
- Everything we sell is in original (new) condition and must be returned that way.
- Our photos are calibrated to the Adobe system, the internet standard, and we are not responsible for any variations in monitors as may exist between yours and ours.
Order Cancellation Policy:
If you have to cancel an order that was placed with a credit card you have until 5PM EST of the same day you placed the order without penalty. If you placed the order AFTER 5PM then you have until 4:45 of the NEXT DAY to cancel it without penalty. After that there is a charge of 50% of the total order, including p/h/i, for Visa or Mastercard orders and American Express orders. The same conditions apply proportionately whether it is a partial cancellation or a full one. Paypal orders cannot be canceled no matter what. You may also opt for a store credit in which case there would be no penalty. If you choose to cancel contact us at once for further instructions. ALL orders are time stamped EST time and that is the one we use in determining when the order was placed. Once an order has been shipped it is not subject to cancellation and will fall into the returned merchandise category with full restocking charges applicable.
Sold Out Merchandise
In the event that something you order is sold out and you opt for us not to replace with equal or greater value, we will issue a store credit to you. It will come in the form of an email within one week of shipment, with full instructions as to how to use it. You must follow the instructions as we cannot rectify errors you might make if you don't. We cannot be responsible if your ISP does not accept the email, which will come from jewelexcom@aol.com, so be sure to include this name on your allow list. Store credits are valid for thirteen months from date of issue (not the order date) after which time they expire worthless.
FOREIGN CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE:
- We cannot trace an order once it leaves the United States. Therefore we cannot be responsible for deliveries to foreign countries, shipment is at your risk. Although we have never lost an order delivered to a foreign country, the possibility always does exist that someone on the other side will waylay the order. We can trace until it leaves the USA, then we have no way to trace into a foreign country. If you worry you can opt for registered service, there is an additional US$35 fee above regular postal charges, for this service, if you want this so note in the special instructions area of the checkout page and we will charge to your credit card. Registered service cannot be traced either but is generally considered impervious to error.
Of Further Consideration
- Our Busy season generally runs from March through December. Please leave ample time to receive your order. We usually close for vacation from Dec 23rd or thereabouts until a few days past New Year's. Any orders placed during that period naturally will not be shipped until we return, and as orders are shipped in the order that they are received there could be a substantial number of people ahead of you.
- Credit card Charges.

- Once an order has been placed it will be subject to the above conditions without exception.
