One of the rarest beads today, this is the classic "disco ball", so called in modern times because it bounces light all over the place like a ceiling ball in a disco. It is a multi-faceted Swarovski creation fully coated with a bright silver finish, from the 40's and 50's. Our stock dates back to 1949, it is article 5003, in 14mm the color is called Comet Argent Light. Swarovski began using this type of package in the late 40's when plastics became widely available. The inner package is one of the first uses of a vacuuform, each bead is housed in its own compartment and as we have not opened but a few of them, have not seen the light of day in over 50 years! A full package is 24 pcs and includes the package, a rarity unto itself. Order these in the Swarovski section.
