A givre style, with the color inside the crystal oval..but there is a faint stripe of black running on one side. It may be a coalescence of the blue color, but it is present in every bead. Really pretty too. Measures 9X11mm, circa 1948. Sold in lots of 4 for $6.50. If you are looking for common beads, there are none here. Order # BD-VN-001.
These 7mm rounds may look like skunk eggs, but actually they are beads from Japan, 1947, and would work as excellent spacers or in any black-white conglomeration you might come up with. They are quite rare you know. Expect that is because they could easily be confused with skunk eggs. So far, none have hatched, but who knows what the gestation period is. Sold in lots of 6 for $8. Order # BD-VN-041.
Japan produced these perfect Gazonta beads. These are MATTE BLACK and cannot be told from the Austrian except that the tag said "Made in Japan" which led us to believe they were not made in Austria. Furthermore, as Austria never made a bead like this, it is reasonable to assume they are not Austrian. The holes run the length of the bead, unlike many Gazonta beads, this one is twisted slightly, turning therefore and back again. If you choose to string these, remember that the bead Gazonta the thread while the thread Gazinta the bead. Do not confuse that point.
Well, life Gazonta the next bead, these are SOLD OUT.
Deep Montana blue cracked glass, with a pinch at one end. Measure 16X11mm, nice length. From West Germany 1948..a magnificent bead to hold and behold and rehold but never de holed because if you de-hole them you won't be able to string them. Forget about deholing..bad idea. Just stick to hold, behold, rehold..you'll be fine. Another cheapy, sold in lots of 2 pcs for $12. Order # BD-VN-045.
