One night at a family occassion dinner my mother asked me why I never posted the Candisa beads on my website. "What are you talking about?", I asked her. "Mariutsa (Pookie) had a very talented young lady working with her, her niece in fact, a girl in her early thirties named Candisa" she answered "Didn't you know?". "No, I didn't know, I have sometimes seen some bins around marked Candisa but I always thought that was the name of some bead dealer. I never looked in them," I stated, in total surprise. "Candisa was her niece, I have no idea what ever happened to her but your father had Candisa doing all sorts of experimentation, there were quite a few varieties" said Mom. "Whereas Mariutsa was pretty rigid in her own ideas, Candisa was much more open to suggestion and she made some gorgeous things with your father constantly urging her on". "They were in the miscellaneous section, in the basement, no idea where they are now, but I can tell you we did have some nice inventory left. Go hunting". I went hunting.
