Japanese imitataion Turquoise, more towards the greener turquoise side than the blue one. Real Turquoise can be found in many colors, green..blue...there is even a white one. The greener ones come from the Southwest of the USA and Mexico, the blue ones come from the Far East and Africa. This is an imitation of the greenish ones. Purpley red, or reddy purple..or whatever. These have a band of aventurine on only one end. No, I don't know why, so don't ask again. A gaseous efflusion almost seems to emanate from within these 17mm almost round beads. Actually they are a bit squarish which affects not the colorations found within. The outside is a brownish grey meld, while the inside portrays almost the innards of a volcano, these beads hail from Japan in 1947, rare and mysterious, daring and bold and a lot of other things too, one being sold out!.
