Another Italian, from PF herself, this one we have the data on. A Rare one indeed you are looking at almost our whole stock (almost). Measure 15x10, teardrops, absolutely stunning beads. Here are the other beads, suspected (but not provable) to have been made by Pookie Farkalarta, wife of Aldo. Pookie was big on using foils, we will be posting many beads we suspect were made by her in her long career. But not today. One of her favorite materials was the gold foil, so prevalent in the center of these beads, which is what leads us to believe these beads came from her atelier. That is a fancy dancy word that means "workshop", but not in English. In English, the word is workshop, which means "atelier" in fancy dancy. Pookie often made her designs in more than one shape, we have some of the multi shape ones, but not all. These rounds are about 11mm, actually triangular in shape, a trick often used by the Venetian artisans to make a bead appear round but which would not roll. Unless of course you drop it on the floor, then it will roll under the heaviest thing in the room to the farthest most point near the wall, even if you have carpeting three inches thick. All beads, no matter what shape they are, when dropped on the floor assume the round shape and roll until reaching a final resting place where they then reassume their original shape right before you locate them. Just one of the facts of the bead, keep it in mind. I don't see these beads lasting too long as we do not have many to begin with.

A busy bead, the genuine theme being of a golden nature but with many pink flowery whatsem in there, some baby blue and red configurations randomly interspersed. Yep, a busy bead but very very pretty indeed! Approximately 12mm and approximately round. Sold in lots of 4 for $10. Order# BDVN4137.

Silver foil with pink flowers and a stripe. The black dots are not really there, they are just the way the foil reflects the light, seems to happen a lot with silver foil that is embedded in a clear bead like this one. So pay them no mind.
