Deep red beads with two strips of foil right near the surface. Not on the surface, near the surface. Where they cannot get damaged as they are protected by the glass. We have from time time to time had this bead before, we sell out, and then another group shows up. I think this is the last of them as it took ten years for this group to finally get unburied. These are from Japan and were made in the 40's sometime. Note that there is slight mix of black flowing through them, give them added life. Red is lively and everyone likes red. They measure 9x19mm, appear to have been hand made so there is some variation in the size. Long beads, add a 5mm spacer and together it is a full inch. Baby blue ovals from West Germany, these measure 17x10mm and show a strip of silver foil on each of two sides. They were made in 1952 for the inauguration of the head of the bead division in the Heimlich factory. I do not know if that Heimlich was related to the fellow who came up with the "maneuver" but you can really maneuver these beads into a work of art. I have confidence in you, I know you can do it.
