A very rare bead made in Germany around 1950. This is a faceted givre bead with actually 2 colors in it, not one as other givre beads have. Extremely rare white ovals from Swarovski, measure 9X10mm, egg shape. Have a band of facetted AB around the middle, and only the middle. These beads are PYRAMID SHAPED. A big one and a small one, same coloration. Frosted clear with a stripe of deep root beer color. How they made these random stripes beats me. This is a lampwork bead from West Germany, circa 1950. The larger is sold out. The other is 6pcs for $12. Order # BDVN215A.
We know it is a Czech bead...we know it was made in 1947...we know it is cracked glass and we know it is 10mm round. BUT the big question IS: What color is it? I have no idea...do you?
