Alas and Alack!! It is now sold out and no one ever guessed the name!! Imagine that. Well, those who tried (and those who are just curious) can now write to me for what it was.

A very rare bead made in Germany around 1950. This is a faceted givre bead with actually 2 colors in it, not one as other givre beads have. The colors are a reddish brown and white, the rest of the bead is clear. A very rare entry and very few to be had. Sold in lots of 2 for $10. Totally uncommon to say the least. Measures 11mmOrder# BDVN218.

Black oval, 12X7mm, AMERICAN in origin c. 1952, with a blue engraving on it. This is one of the few beads we have found in several colors but don't think they are common! We will sell what we have in lots of 4 pcs. Order# BD-VN416a for $10.00 per lot.

Red oval, 12X7mm, AMERICAN in origin c. 1952, with a black engraving on it. As above. We will sell what we have in lots of 4 pcs. Order# BD-VN416b for $10.00 per lot.

A beautiful handmade bead from Italy, circa 1948. Baby Blue and GOLD FOIL on a white background, 12mm lump shape. One of those beads that you will ooh and aah when you see it, but that just doesn't scan for what it really is. Sold in lots of 4. Order# BDVN171 for $18.00 per lot.

Extremely rare white ovals from Swarovski, measure 9X10mm, egg shape. Have a band of facetted AB around the middle, and only the middle. The frosted ones didn't last too long, how long do you think these are gonna be here? Better get them while you can, or kick yourself in the hooha for all time to come!! Sold in lots of 2 for $25, # BD-VN-1181.

Suspect this one and the one above to be Candisa beads but no indication on boxes so cannot be sure. Still, they are of Italian origin so it is a good bet. Measure 19x10mm, tear drops. Sound familiar? Sold in lots of 6 pcs for $10.50 BDVN5230.

These beads are PYRAMID SHAPED. A big one and a small one, same coloration. Frosted clear with a stripe of deep root beer color. How they made these random stripes beats me. This is a lampwork bead from West Germany, circa 1950. The larger is sold out. The other is 6pcs for $12. Order # BDVN215A.

We know it is a Czech bead...we know it was made in 1947...we know it is cracked glass and we know it is 10mm round. BUT the big question IS: What color is it? I have no idea...do you? Not pink, not yellow, certainly not amber...so what is it? My guess is that it is marsupial mint. Your turn. Sold in lots of 10 pcs for $15. Order Item #BD-VN1405.

Why is it called "lipstick" if you can still move your lips after putting it on?
