Perfectly smooth and perfectly round Japanese beads from 1948. Pearlescent finish, note how evenly they line up with each other. They are not quite emerald green, some other green, not emerald. Unusual shaped beads, somewhat like grains of wheat or beans, these hail from Austria 1947. Two colors, sold by color, they measure a good long 13mm by 7mm wide. Pretty and summery, the yellow is sold in lots of 6 for $8, the blue in lots of 6 for $6. Don't ask why, it should be obvious. Order# BD-VN1347.

    Made in West Germany right after the war, they were called Sparren beads. I guess they are still Sparren beads. Always will be. Sold in lots of 2 according to above schedule. Primarily translucent, they measure in at just about 13.5 mm.



    Very old German beads from 1949 measure 10mm. Heart shape pale blue stripes sit below the top layer of clear glass in a way that must be seen to be appreciated. Rare and beautiful but unfortunately not too abundant. Sold in lots of 12 for $18. Order# BDVN03.
