An old Japanese millifiore style heart from 1954, the style of which I am told has recently enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. How a bead can enjoy anything other than the company of another bead is beyond the realm of my comprehension but nevertheless I am told by the powers that be that this kind of bead is definitely enjoying a resurgence. Well, truthfully, I do not have all that many and they are 12mm, which when translated into a spatial density means they are taking up space. I have a son whose dean in school told me that he (my son, not the dean) was taking up space, all those years of shelling out for his education while I thought he was going to be a rocket scientist because I was told he was "taking up space". Only to find out that is not what they meant at all! These are sold in lots of ten beads for $9.00 American when you buy at least one lot which is quite a deal.
