I would bet you would think this is crystal, right? Well, it is, sort of. It is Crystal Ultra, a special super sharp cut on the facets made it shine and sparkle like no other crystal. Then to enhance that, they added a pearlescent finish although personally I do not think it was necessary. It was a costly way to do things and the jewelry industry balked at the price (triple) so it was dropped. Without any other help colors just fly off these beads, some of which can be seen in the photo. In the hand they are absolutely incredible. These are extant in two sizes, not a great many of either, and they are 6mm or 4mm article 199. The 6mm are sold in lots of 12 pcs for $15, but I warn you now, there are not many so if you buy one lot and fall in love with it you may be disappointed later when the only lot left is my one lot that stays in my private collection. Forever. Unless my wife finds it, in which case it will cost me dearly to get it back. The 4mm are sold in lots of 24pcs for $19.50, obviously they would work well together while we still have both. Order Style# BDVN6629 for the 6mm, BDVN6655 for the 4mm.

Sangria AB, 10mm. Deep, deep red color. Deep. Really deep.

Sold in lots of 6 for $21. Measures 10mm round, transluscent, AB finish. Order Item #BD-VN1809C.

Chalk white margaritas, hole 1/3 the way down from the top. Measure 14mm, these are a real steal at $13.50 a dozen. Until I sober up, then...who knows. Order Item #BDVN6425.

"Poor Man's" Version of the above!! 2mm difference and almost half the price when taken in quantity!

The same item in 12mm A little smaller and a lot cheaper, sold in lots of 12 for $10. Take 4 lots and pay only $8/lot, no one can say we do not try. But remember, although we offer a discount it does not mean we have a load of these because we don't. So do what is necessary. White is a classic, but it is not around much anymore. Especially in large sizes. Order the four lots and the computer takes the discount. Smart computer! Order Item #BDVN6392.

Called antique golden these are 8mm bicones, which you can plainly see. This color was made by Swarovski for Mazer, we acquired these when the company was auctioned in the late 70's. Thus we are not sure what year they were made but probably early on as it is a fairly simple color. Sold in lots of 12 for $16.50, a full dozen in every lot!! Order Item #BDVN1270x.

From the Royal of Pittsburgh collection, 1957, this color was called Mariscu. It is a wild bead with an argentium finish on one side, colors seem to fly off all over the place with this bead. A photographer's nightmare but a beader's delight!! The base color is in the red family but it is definitely not one of the basic reds, it leans more towards fuchsia perhaps. This one is also unique, we have yet to find another in this color. These are 6mm sold in lots of 12 for $15. Order Item #BDVN6664.

Chalk white AB bicone in 10mm. A real rarity, even though it is article 5301, try to find them in a modern equivalent. These go way back to 1955 and were one of the first AB beads ever made. Sold in lots of 6 for $15 or a full package of 72pcs for $190. We are real short on the packages available so step up to it if you want one. Order Item #BDVN6028X

Same configuration as above but this one is 11mm. Rarest of the group inasmuch as nothing is made in 11mm anymore. Lot of 6, $18.00 Order Item #BDVN1263L

Very rare 12mm Palian Blue Cube, bevelled edges play havoc with the light. Once this bead is gone, which will be soon, you will never see another like it. Sold in lots of 2 for $65.00. Order# BDVN6062.

Sorry, Sold out.....Forever!

Known in its day as Madrid Dark, although we have never seen a Madrid Light or even a Madrid Medium, this was a popular bead. It seems to bear a finish on one side, probably AB although we are not sure because there is no mention of it on the faded packaging. So a picture tells a thousand words, right? So here is the picture. Sold in lots of 12 for $13.50 and it is 5mm round. This is a rare bead and quantities are limited. Order# BDVN6658.

A weird pink, like pink sherbet, but this is a very soft pink bicone, opaque. Pink as pink can be. Really pink. 5mm bicones. Sold in lots of 12 pcs for $13.50 . So buy what you want because when you want them again they will be sold out. As far as we know, this is really the only opaque pink ever made by Swarovski so of course they discontinued it before it could really catch on! Order# BD-VN6161.
